Annabells is a lovely newly renovated solid brick home set in a quiet location, just a short walk (1 km) to the centre of Bright, adjacent to Pioneer Park. The living areas are North facing, overlooking the established gardens with lovely mountain views beyond. The Rail Trail bike track runs past the front of the property, which backs onto the forest tracks leading to Huggins Lookout and Mystic Hill.
A large lounge room has a comfy L shaped Moran lounge suite and Moran recliner complete with a wood-fire to get cosy while watching the large 60" TV. The dining room has a magnificent blackwood table, seating 10 - 12 guests to make meal times a family affair.
The kitchen complete with Miele dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and Sunbeam Cafe Series coffee machine (locally roasted Sixpence coffee beans provided) overlooks these areas so the chef of the family is not missing a thing. The kitchen has everything you could need when cooking.
Being solid brick the house is quite warm in the colder months as the lovely windows let the sun shine in and the solid bricks keep it much cooler in summer, but for those hot days you have a Reverse Cycle Air Conditioner and all rooms have block out blinds.
Four bedrooms can accommodate 9 guests at Annabells of Bright, with a fold up sofa available for use in the lounge if needed which can sleep another 1. (Please note: There is little privacy in this area and is probably more suited to a child)
The Main bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite with walk in shower, 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, the 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and a single sofa bed, and the 4th bedroom is petite and has a double bed.
All bedrooms have brand new top of the range Penthouse Executive King Koil beds with luscious goose-down doonas for your complete sleep comfort. Quality bedding completes the beds, electric blankets, and blankets available for those that might prefer them to a doona. New plush carpets have been laid in the bedrooms with gorgeous slate in the living areas.
We have just recently added a small outdoor Bungalow, which is half-underground and our guests have called it "The Bunker'. It has just enough room for 2 single beds, a TV and space for some of your personals. Undercover entry to the house is available via the garage or the back door. The Bunker is available for use when 10 or more guests have booked .
The bathroom is newly renovated with single spa and walk in shower.
A deck complete with picnic table and chairs and bbq is also North facing and is a lovely place to relax. Large established trees provide plenty of shade if required. We have recently added an outdoor Element fireplace which is great for cool nights and drinks around the fire.
If all of this is not enough an 8 x 7 metre brick garage, complete with mechanics pit keeps your cars or cycles safe and cool with roller door and security access directly into the house and out to the Bungalow.
A POOL is available for Annabell's guests by accessing our next door Forest Lodge Chalets property via Annabells back garden. Please note: The rest of Forest Lodge, including the Trampoline, BBQ'S etc is for Forest Lodge guests only
Tariff during peak times is for the maximum number of guests only.
Please note - No parties, hens nights or any type of events are to be held here. This is a private house for the use of paid guests only. Unfortunately we have had several people bring extra guests who are 'staying elsewhere' or 'just dropped in' when it is clear that they are staying in the house. Charges will apply for any extra guests. We live next door at Forest Lodge and look forward to popping over to meet our guests. Our aim is to provide everything we can in the hope that you have a wonderful stay at Annabells.
